BUILDING SERVICES ENGINEERS

With over 30 years of experience within the Building Services Industry, Ian has managed and consulted on a vast variety of successfully completed projects across New Zealand.

After moving from Christchurch to The Hawke’s Bay in 2004, Ian established Ensor Consulting in Hastings, from where he has been applying his Engineering skills alongside some of the country’s leading Architectural, Engineering and Project Management practices.

Ian’s primary areas of expertise include:

  • The design of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning for Commercial buildings.

  • Commercial and Industrial Refrigeration design.

  • Materials Handling.

  • Heat recovery and transfer.

  • Sustainability Design in new commercial buildings.

 

Ian loves classic cars, super cars, muscle cars...cars in general, and a good glass of wine.

BUILDING SERVICES ENGINEER

GODOFREDO VENTURA jr

A Professional Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in various aspects of Mechanical Design and installation of HVAC, Hydraulics, Rotating & Static Equipment. Fredo's experience has been acquired both locally and internationally involving local and multi-national workforces within the industrial, commercial and Healthcare sectors. Fredo enjoys recreational basketball, walking to work (even if it is just across the road) and boxing.

BUILDING SERVICES ENGINEER

WILLIAM WANG

William completed his degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Southwest Jiaotong University in China in 2012 and made the moved to New Zealand in 2018 with his wife and son. William has experience in the designing of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning systems for Commercial, Healthcare and Industrial buildings and is also a certified LEED Green Associate. William enjoys the outdoors, going to the gym and everything New Zealand has to offer... especially the food.

BUILDING SERVICES ENGINEER

RONALD SANTIAGO

Ronald has over 20 years’ experience in building services and process engineering design, project, construction and contract management covering HVAC, fire protection, plumbing and sanitary (hydraulic) systems for a wide range of international industrial and commercial facilities and clients to include mass production clean rooms, laboratories, data centres, petro-chemical and water reclamation plants. An avid movie watcher, lover of food & exercise and making sweet music...aka playing the guitar.

Andrew Todd

Andrew graduated a Bachelor of Engineering Technology in Wellington and joined the team as a graduate engineer in mid-2019 after completing two summer internships with Ensor Consulting. Andrew has a primary focus in Mechanical and Hydraulic services design and has gained experience on projects within the Healthcare, Commercial and Education Sectors. A Hawke's bay local, Andrew has a love for anything fast and on four wheels.

GRADUATE MECHANICAL ENGINEER

DELJO ABRAHAM

Deljo Abraham joined the Ensor Team late 2022 as a Graduate Mechanical Engineer.

After completing his Bachelor's Degree of Engineering in India, Deljo moved to New Zealand where he completed a Graduate Diploma in Mechanical Building Services at WelTec, before starting his career in the local Building Services Industry. Deljo has experience within the Residential and Commercial Sectors as well as Revit and AutoCAD experience. There is still work to be done in convincing Deljo to enhance his supporters gear with some Black Cap items. 

BUILDING SERVICES ENGINEER

shane willetts

Shane has 30 years’ experience in the Mechanical engineering trade, with the last 15 years spent transitioning from Tradesman up through the ranks to Project Management. Focusing specifically for the last 4 years in management of Mechanical building services installations, he has developed a passion for the design aspects of Building services. Not the easiest man to fit into a company shirt, Shane coaches Hockey in his spare time and enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys.

REVIT TECHNICIANS

BIM MANAGER/SENIOR REVIT TECHNICIAN

HENRY JACOBS

Henry has been with Ensor Consulting for the last 12 years and leads our BIM and Revit management team. He has experience in a variety of building services projects including AutoCAD and Revit (BIM) modelling and documentation for Mechanical, Hydraulic and Electrical services on projects within the Commercial, Industrial, Healthcare and Education sectors. With a background in Interior Design, including 14 years' experience in the Retail, Hospitality, Exhibition and Commercial Interior Design sectors. With Computer Visualization and Graphic design experience using 3D Studio Max and CorelDraw, he not only looks after the company CI but adds an additional dimension to our diverse skill set. Henry enjoys the outdoors, watching sport and spending time with his family & friends. He is also the reigning Ensor Ten Pin Bowling champ.

REVIT TECHNICIAN

MADELEIN DOUBELL

Madelein studied and worked as a multi-disciplinary draughts person in South Africa and shortly after re-locating to the Hawke's Bay in 2018, joined the Ensor team. She has worked on multiple projects within the Healthcare, Education and Commercial sectors utilizing Revit for collaboration and workshare and has experience in Revit family development. She also adds a well needed feminine touch to the office.

Madelein enjoys healthy food and spending time in the gym & being creative.

Madelein Doubell

JUNIOR REVIT TECHNICIAN

KURT McPHERSON

Kurt joined us last year on an internship and has quickly proven himself to be a valued member of the Revit team. He is quickly mastering the finer arts of collaborative coordination and modeling while gaining experience in various disciplines and sectors within our industry. Kurt spends his free time "learning how to take a fall" as a member of Impact Pro Wrestling New Zealand.

LEANNE McCARTY

Every office requires someone who can bring a sense of order not only on the front line, but also on all that is required to make the engine run smoothly. Bringing many years of experience in office administration, management and payroll to the company, Leanne is a valued member of our team. Leanne enjoys a game of pool and a glass of wine, when she's not running after or transporting kids.

SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

RANMAL WILSON

Ranmal is an Engineering Professional in Building Services with over fifteen years’ of consultancy experience covering major projects from design to completion. His expertise includes commercial, industrial, residential, retail, education, leisure, healthcare, laboratories, street lighting, airports, data centres, museums, and stadium developments.

Ranmal’s breadth of project experience enables him to understand local regulations and requirements whilst drawing on his international experience of knowledge and best practice. Some project highlights to date are the London Olympics Velodrome and Wellington Town Hall. 

Ranmal completed a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Electronic) at the University of Auckland, and is a Member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology UK (MIET), Institution of Engineers Australia (MIEAust), and has current Chartered Professional registration (CPEng) with Engineering NZ.

Ranmal enjoys catching up with friends & family, watching the All Blacks and keeping up with the NZ space race.
